Ticketyboo will welcome you to time out from the mayhem. Explore on foot, by bike or by car. Take the opportunity to explore an abundance of bridleways and footpaths from your doorstep, then return to the comforts of Ticketyboo at Grange Farm.
Your Experience
For breakfast, we offer a varied selection throughout the year. Produce is sourced locally where possible and the eggs are supplied by our resident free range hens at Grange Farm. Cereals, fresh fruits, home made bread, yoghurts and fresh juice. Every day a selection of hot options for you too.
Free wifi can be accessed in your suite and externally too!
Please note there are no T.V.s in the rooms as we encourage peace and tranquillity. You are more than welcome to bring your own devices and use the Wifi for a not to be missed programme!
Grange Farm is set in 4 acres of natural landscape. There is plenty of space for guests to immerse themselves in the environment. Wild deer, frequently visiting barn owls and a plethora of birds can be seen in this quiet haven. Guests can be as free range as our chickens during their stay!
Set in the National park you will have access to some of the most stunning walks in North Yorkshire. From the ancient woodlands to the moors and beyond to the drama of the coastline. Walks to suit every level.
There are plentiful routes for cyclists both on and off the road. We are surrounded by bridleways and forest tracks here in Cropton forest with Dalby forest and its mountain bike routes close by.
We can offer a facility to store your bikes in a lockable barn.
We can provide an extensive list of eating recommendations to suit every budget and palate. From country pubs to Michelin dining. It is advisable to book in advance on weekends and popular times of the year.

Things to Do
Pickering
This lovely market town is bursting with things to do. Including the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, museums, a flea market and a sumptuous range of eateries.
Sightseeing
There are many historical buildings and museums within a short drive including Castle Howard, Whitby Abbey and Beck Isle Museum.
Markets
You'll find markets on most days of the week in local towns and Malton, the food Capital of the North, is only a 25 minute drive.
Outdoors
Outdoor activities are plentiful. Hiking, cycling, coasteering and rock climbing to name a few.
Dalby Forest and all its fantastic MTB routes can be reached from the doorstep by MTB, being only 5 miles of fantastic bridleway to access.
Star Gazing
For the star gazers we are situated in one of, if not the best, place in the UK to see the Milky Way. With no light pollution and the coastal horizon it is a star gazer's delight!
Wildlife
Wild orchids are in abundance in the forest throughout the summer. The rutting stags can be heard and seen through September along with the whales passing through the waters beyond Whitby.
